Early morning fire closes a diner in the Belleville

Belleville Firefighters were called to a blaze at a business early this morning.

The fire took place around 3 a.m., at a plaza on Dundas Street East at Haig Road.

KK’s Sunshine Diner has confirmed in a Facebook post, that the blaze started in their business. The fire was contained to their area of the plaza. The diner will be closed until further notice, as the cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no injuries.
