Trenton Golden Hawks need to win Friday’s game to stay in the playoffs

The defending OJHL champions are skating on thin ice this week.

The Newmarket Hurricanes beat the Trenton Golden Hawks 5-1 last night, to claim a 3-0 lead in the best of seven second round playoff series.

Trenton now faces elimination in the playoffs for the first time since 2023.

Trenton will host the Newmarket Hurricanes in a must win game, this Friday at 7:30 p.m.
