Belleville Police reschedule Polar Plunge to April 10th

Belleville Police will not be gathering at the Herchimer Boat Launch this afternoon.

The team has moved their annual Special Olympics Polar Plunge event to Friday, April 10th. The event will take place at 1 p.m. in the same place.

Police note that they have moved the event due to safety concerns, as ice is still in the Bay of Quinte.

They have raised over $18,000, as of this morning. The goal is to raise $20,000.
