The Loyalist Lancers men’s basketball team have moved on to the second round of the playoffs without playing a game.
The Lancers did not play St. Lawrence as scheduled last night. The Surge had to forfeit the fame after receiving a positive COVID-19 rapid test just before they left to travel to Belleville.
Loyalist has advanced and will play Lambton College on Saturday. The game will start at 2 p.m. at the Lancerdome. 91X will broadcast the game live from the gym.
The Loyalist Lancer’s women’s team ended their season last night. Algonquin College beat Loyalist 58-51.
