Loyalist College has announced today who will be taking over as the new Acting President.
The College says in a statement this morning, that Mark Kirkpatrick is being promoted to the role.
He is currently the Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services & CFO. He has worked at the College for over 15 years in a variety of roles.
Kirkpatrick’s appointment was unanimously approved by the Board of Governors.
“Mark’s deep knowledge and understanding of the College, across multiple portfolios, and steadfast leadership of the Corporate Services portfolio throughout the pandemic, demonstrate his strong candidacy and ability to provide seamless, experienced leadership during this period of transition,” said Board Chair Pam Jolliffe, in a statement.
He will start as the Acting President on August 1st. Current President and CEO, Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan resigned earlier this month. She will be starting her role as the new President and CEO of Humber College on August 29th.
Loyalist adds today that the Board of Governors is working with Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette. The firm has been selected to help search for a new President and CEO.
