Two local beaches posted heading into the Canada Day long weekend

There are two beaches that have been posted as we head into the Canada Day long weekend

Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says that the Tweed Park beach along Stoco Lake and Wellington Beach are unsafe for swimming.

This is due to E. coli bacteria

The health unit posts the weekly beach report every Friday on their website. Hastings Prince Edward Public Health continues to monitor water quality all summer long. Information about Provincial Park beaches can be found on the Ontario Parks website.
