There certainly is lots of excitement across the region lately, as museums continue to welcome back more and more visitors.
The Glanmore National Historic Site recently had free admission yesterday as a part of Historic Places Days. The team currently has a special Summer Dress Exhibit and a display outside. The Holodomor mobile classroom is at Glanmore this Saturday and Sunday. You can drop by and visit the classroom for free. The interactive space tells the story of the genocide that the Soviet Union committed against Ukraine in 1932 and 1933. Details about the travelling classroom can be found on holodomortour.ca. Dave Cox, Glanmore’s Interim Education and Marketing Coordinator joined us to talk about both those exhibits.
The new Executive Director of the Quinte Museum of Natural History joined us later on to talk about the space in Trenton. Deanna Way and the team continue to welcome lots of visitors to the new museum.
