Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward will be holding its first Wiggle Waggle Walkathon this Saturday.
The fundraiser at West Zwick’s Park in Belleville will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There is some friendly competition between local police officers, firefighters and paramedics. They have formed teams and are in a race to see who can raise the most money.
Belleville Police Service has formed two teams – BPS Old Dogs and BFES Barkers. Belleville Fire and Emergency Services and Hastings Quinte Paramedics also have members participating.
