Prince Edward County has announced a series of vaccine clinics this week, as the virus continues to circulate.
A walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic will take place tomorrow at the Prince Edward Community Centre. The clinic will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Staff will be offering the Moderna and Pfizer bivalent vaccine. Pediatric doses will also be available. The health team is offering a chance for seniors to pre-book a time-slot to avoid standing. Seniors can pick up a timed ticket at the Community Care For Seniors Office today. The office on King Street in Picton is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The timed ticket will ensure that seniors don’t have to stand for too long. The clinic will be welcoming everyone tomorrow, regardless if you have a ticket or not.
Those who can’t make the walk-in clinic this week do have a number of options. The following clinics at the Prince Edward Community Centre do require people to book an appointment ahead of time. Bookings can be done through the province’s vaccine portal.
