91X has teamed up with Volunteer Information Quinte to share all the volunteer opportunities in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

Here is how you can help this week:
- Abigail’s Learning Centre in Belleville needs volunteers to work in its Babies and Beyond program every Thursday afternoon. Duties include setting up child-care equipment, maintaining play areas, and assisting with planned activities.
- The National Air Force Museum is looking for visitor hosts at the museum in Trenton. You will greet and interact with visitors, provide directions, and answer questions about the exhibits. Volunteers also are needed to provide customer service in the museum gift shop.
- If you’re fluent in Ukrainian, Polish or Russian… Quinte Immigration Services could use your help. They need translators and interpreters to help people who are new to the Quinte region.
- Reaching For Rainbows in Picton is looking for volunteers. It’s a registered charity that offers no-cost programs for girls in Prince Edward County. If you can spare a few hours each week to engage in activities with the young participants, contact Reaching For Rainbows on its website.
- The Regent Theatre in Picton is looking for help with a variety of odd jobs. Theses include ticket sales, ushering, and working at the concession stand. High school students looking for volunteer hours are welcome.
- The John Howard Society in Belleville need volunteers for its Drop-In Centre on Wallbridge Crescent. Volunteers help provide information for guests and maintain a relaxed drop-in environment. The Society delivers programs and support for individuals and families navigating issues within the criminal justice system.
- Community Care Central Hastings in Tweed needs drivers to deliver meals to senior citizens in their homes on weekdays between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You need your own vehicle. The time commitment can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
- The Habitat For Humanity Re-store is looking for helpers at its location on Bell Boulevard in Belleville. You’ll need to prepare merchandise for sale, create floor displays, provide customer service, and help load and unload donations.
- The Community Development Council of Quinte (CDC Quinte) needs some strong volunteers to help with its Good Food Box Program. You will help unload food donations, pack food hampers, and then load the hampers into delivery vehicles. You must be able to lift up to 50-pounds. The Community Development Council is located on Station Street in Belleville.
Volunteer Information Quinte refers volunteers to more than 275 agencies throughout Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
