There will be a new holiday market in downtown Belleville, during the holiday season.
The City of Belleville has teamed up with the Downtown District BIA for the Enchanted Holiday Market.
The holiday market will launch on Thursday, November 17 in downtown Belleville. The market will run every Thursday to Sunday from November 17 to December 18.
Vendors will be selling handmade items out of wooden huts, there will be a synthetic ice rink, food trucks and buskers. There will be horse and carriage rides offered for free every Thursday, Friday nights, and Sunday afternoons. You can also find Santa.
Outside of the events downtown, the Festival of Lights will launch on Friday, November 18. The launch event will take place at West Zwick’s Park at 4:30 p.m. The full light display will be set up along Jane Forrester Park until January 3.
The Belleville Santa Claus Parade will take place on Sunday, November 20 at 4:30 p.m. The parade will start at the old Belleville Fairgrounds at the corner of Bridge Street and Sidney Street. The parade will end at Bridge Street and Herchimer Avenue. Residents are invited to bring an non-perishable food item and toy to donate to Gleaners Food Bank and the Belleville Firefighters Toy Drive. Letters for Santa are also encouraged.
