We learned more about the What3Words App this week.
Marsie Mackay, the Staff and Logistics Manager with Peterborough Fire Services joined us along with Brighton’s Fire Chief Gene Thompson to explain how it works.
The What3Words App is free for ISO and Android devices. The program has created a three-word code for every 10 foot square around the world. If you are lost and require emergency assistance, you can use the app to help first responders find you. The app works on and offline and is very helpful if you are in a rural location.
