The two local OJHL teams in the Quinte region have made a trade.
The Trenton Golden Hawks have announced in a statement over the weekend, that they have acquired Ryan Cutler, Corbin Roach, Lucas Lapalm, and Barrett Joynt from the Wellington Dukes.
The county team will send Joe Weber, goaltender Ethan Fraser, and a player development fee to round out the trade.
“We want to thank Joe and Ethan for their contributions to our program. Not only did they work hard and offer a professional attitude, but they are fine young men. We wish them nothing but the best in their future. The Trenton Golden Hawks will be focusing on success, but local success. Lucas and Corbin hail from the Quinte region, while Barret is from just north of Kingston and Ryan the GTA. We have added more local talent, but we are also a better team with this trade.” said Todd Reid, Trenton’s Interim General Manager, in a statement.
