Verna here at 91X has her icebox all ready for Ribfest in Belleville!
The event at West Zwick’s Park is the second one this summer for the region. Quinte Ribfest kicked off the season in Trenton back in June.
The event in Belleville starts today in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Hastings Prince Edward. Admission is $2 per person and $5 for a family of five.
Award-winner ribbers will be ready to serve Verna and everyone else from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. today. The event runs from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Visitors can cast their votes for their favourite ribs, chicken and sauce. There will also be a raffle going and live music.
