Gleaners Food Bank is bringing back their annual city-wide food drive, for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
The need has skyrocketed over the last few years, as prices have climbed.
Staff and volunteers will be travelling across Belleville on October 1st, collecting donations.
The event will start at 11 a.m. at City Hall and run until 6 p.m.
Opportunities on the day:
- Assist at a grocery store in Belleville and Foxboro
- Canvass door to door. The session starts at Market Square at 11 a.m.
- Volunteer at the Gleaner’s Office on 25 Wallbridge Crescent in Belleville to help sort donations.
- Be a neighbourhood steward – arrange to have your neighbours drop off non-perishable food items to your home or closest grocery store.
