The Belleville Senators’ top scorer from last season has officially re-joined the club for a 4th season!
Egor Sokolov, the 23-year-old forward, established a franchise scoring record and games played mark last season with 21 goals and 38 assists for a total of 59 points in 70 games! The B-Sens also added a couple more players grabbed from waivers, like veteran forward Matthew Highmore, bringing their training camp total up to 26 skaters.
Belleville Sens season ticket members got exclusive access to a training camp practice yesterday, and there will be two pre-season games in Toronto on Friday and Laval on Sunday. Don’t forget if you’re a CAA member you can get into the meet and greet before their home opener on the 21st of this month, so if you want to meet Sokolov, come out and support your B-Sens!
