Winter Parking Restrictions take effect shortly in Belleville

The City of Belleville has announced that winter parking restrictions will start November 1st.

Residents will not be able to park their vehicles overnight from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. at city parking lots or out on the street. The move does include all non-curbed streets.

The winter parking restrictions will be in place until April 15th. The move is to help snowplows and street sweepers.

The City will be issuing tickets and towing vehicles in some cases if they are out on the road overnight.
