Local municipalities will once again be offering free curbside pick-up for Christmas trees.
City of Quinte West:
-Crews will be collecting real Christmas trees on Monday, January 8th and Monday, January 15th. Folks in Quinte West are being asked to place their tree, free of lights and ornaments, out on the curb by 7 a.m. More details at QuinteWest.ca.
City of Belleville:
-The team collects Christmas Trees on certain days based on where residents live. Collection will run from Tuesday, January 2nd to Monday, January 8th. As with Quinte West, people in Belleville are being asked to place their plain tree out on the curb by 7 a.m. on their collection day. Trees can also be dropped off at the Parks and Open Spaces office located at 259 Park Street. More details at Belleville.ca.

Zone 1 – West of Moira River and South of the CNR Tracks – January 4th
Zone 2 – West of Moira River and North of the CNR Tracks, south of Highway 401 – January 5th
Zone 3 – East of Moira River and North of Victoria Avenue – January 2nd
Zone 4 – East of Moira River and South of Victoria Avenue – January 3rd
Zone 5 + 6 – North of Highway 401 and East/West of Highway 37 – January 8th
