A winter storm is starting to settle in the Quinte Region.
Environment Canada has issued a Significant Rainfall Warning and Travel Advisory for Belleville today.
We could see between 15 to 20 cm of snow by the end of the day with a high of 1 Celsius. There is a risk of freezing rain and ice pellets as we hover around the freezing mark.
You’ll find more snow the further north you go. Environment Canada says Bancroft could be in for 30 cm of snow.
Tonight, here in Belleville, Environment Canada is calling for 20 to 30 mm of rain as we hover above the freezing mark.
School buses were cancelled earlier today. Loyalist College remains open.
