Condolences continue to pour in for Daryl Kramp.
The long-time politician died yesterday at the age of 76.
Kramp was the MP for Prince-Edward Hastings from 2004 to 2015. He was the MPP was Hastings-Lennox and Addington from 2018 to 2022. He did not seek re-election.

Statement from Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis:
“We are deeply saddened to have learned of the passing of Daryl Kramp.
Daryl was truly a champion for our community throughout his time as both MP and MPP in Belleville and the surrounding region, and we will always be grateful for the contributions he made to our city. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
On behalf of the City and Council, I extend our sincere condolences to his wife Carol Ann, family and loved ones, including his daughter, MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman.
The flag at City Hall will be lowered this morning until further notice in his honour.”

“I want to extend my condolences to Daryl Kramp’s family and the many people who knew and loved him.
Daryl was a strong advocate for Prince Edward County as a Member of Parliament and an outstanding representative for the Quinte Region throughout his political career.
Daryl was personable and approachable. Whenever he was on a main street in the County, everyone knew they could just come up to Daryl and strike up a conversation about any topic. He will be dearly missed.”
