Trenton Golden Hawks win OJHL Eastern Conference title

The Trenton Golden Hawks have won the OJHL’s Eastern Conference title, with some hockey still left to play.

The top team has a 13-point lead over the Wellington Dukes, who remain second place.

Heading into the playoffs, Trenton does have experience on their side. Goaltender Ben Bonisteel, along with Adam O’Marra, David Fournier, and Dillon Stiles, were in the championship series last season. Ben Pickell and Lucas Lapalm have won a championship.

Trenton still have three-weeks left in the regular season.

Information about the playoffs is expected to be released early March.
