It’s the start of another school year here at Loyalist College in Belleville.
Today is the first day of Orientation Week. The official welcome will take place this morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Soccer Field. Mandatory academic orientation for students will follow from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Locations for each program can be found on the College’s website.
Activities will continue from noon to 3 p.m. at the Shark Tank Patio. The DMC parking lot is closed today to accommodate the event.
There will be a pub night at 9 p.m.
Orientation week highlights:
*Wednesday, Sept 3 – Plant Party at the Shark Tank Pub – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Outdoor Movie at 7:30 p.m. in the Pub area.
*Thursday, Sept 4 – Bracelet Making from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Glow Party at 9 p.m. Both events happening at the Shark Tank Pub.
*Friday, September 5 – Minute To Win It Tournament – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shark Tank Pub. Friday Night Lights from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring a varsity soccer game.
