The local humane society on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road is hosting a fundraiser at the end of the month.
The “Junk in the Trunk” event will take place outside the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward’s building on September 21st.
The flea-market style fundraiser will run from 8 a.m. to noon.
Participants will be able to sell their used items directly out of their vehicle. Vendor tables are also available and can be booked by notifying Nadine O’Hearn at nohearn@humanesocietyhpe.ca.
A BBQ is also being planned.
Proceeds will support the humane society.
