Loyalist Lancers rugby and cross-country teams competing this weekend at the provincial championships

It is a busy weekend for the Loyalist Lancers Varsity teams, competing at the OCAA Provincial Championships this weekend.

The Lancers Cross Country team will be at Mohawk College in Mount Hope for their races tomorrow. Seven runners will be competing for Loyalist, including Cassandra Brennan from Wellington and Bianca Rainville of Belleville. The women’s race takes place at 11 a.m. and the men’s race will begin at noon.

The Lancers Women’s Rugy Team are off to Kitchener for the OCAA Championship hosted by Conestoga College. The Lancers are in fourth place and will take on fifth place Seneca for their first game tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
