Singer-songwriters Tara Leavey and her daughter Amanda Jean have released a special song that we’re proud to highlight for Remembrance Day.
Tara started writing this song about her father, Albert Edward Leavey, while walking the track at Trenton High School. Her father returned home from World War II, and like many veterans, chose alcohol to cope with his PTSD. One of eight children, Tara writes about what it was like in the household at the time as a young girl.
