Loyalist College has announced that ten students in skilled trades programs, have been award the 2025 Schulich Builders Scholarship.
The Schulich Foundation launched their builders scholarship two years ago. Loyalist College staff note in a statement, that the scholarships are valued at $40,000 for two-year programs, and $20,000 for one year programs.
Over 1,000 students were nominated out of 380,000 candidates across the country.
Here are the Loyalist College students that have received the scholarship this year among 120 students.

- Doug Carr, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Techniques
- Cole Carruthers, Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician
- Keegan Gallant, Mechanical Techniques
- Stephanie Howell, Electrical Engineering Technician – Industrial
- Neil Kirby, Mechatronics
- Brayden MacIsaac, Welding and Fabrication Technician
- Clarence Madden, Motive Power Fundamentals – Parts and Counter Personnel
- Shyann Sidey, Carpentry and Renovation Techniques
- Evan Westerman, Mechatronics
