School buses cancelled for a third day in a row

The Quinte region is all iced in.

Due to the freezing rain overnight, Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled all school buses today.

This is the second time this week that all buses have been cancelled, third day in a row for students in the southern part of Quinte.

Periods of freezing rain is expected to end this morning, as we reach a high of 3 degrees Celsius. Cloudy with a chance of flurries later in the day.

Schools remain open for families. Loyalist College is open as usual, and Belleville Transit continues to run.
