Belleville received around 40 cm of snow yesterday. It’s easy to see why many business are closed or delaying opening today, as cars are in many cases, totally buried.
*Loyalist College classes and and operations suspended until 10 a.m. this morning. Delayed start in place to allow for snow removal.
*Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled all school buses today. HPEDSB has closed schools in Belleville, Quinte West, PEC.
*FNTI in Tyendinaga is closed.
*North Hastings School is closed due to a heating issue.
*All Algonquin and Lakeshore District School Board schools are closed today.
*STSCO buses are not running and all schools are closed in Northumberland County.
*Belleville has cancelled the Council Meeting set for 4 p.m.
*Belleville Public Library delaying opening until 12:30 p.m. Quinte West Public Library is open, but has suspended all programs.
*Albert College is closed.
*The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre has cancelled all programs until 11:30 a.m. this morning. A decision about the afternoon schedule will be made at 10 a.m.
*Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre among many offices closed today.
