Prince Edward County is looking to hear from residents about local museums.
Staff are currently working on a Strategic Plan for County Museums that will take the team into 2031.
Here is a statement from staff today, about how people can participate.
How to participate
- Complete the online survey posted on Have Your Say: https://haveyoursay.thecounty.ca/the-county-museums-strategy
- Pick up a paper copy of the survey at any of the following locations:
– Macaulay Heritage Park
– Wellington Heritage Museum
– Shire Hall
– County of Prince Edward Public Library branches - Share an idea on Have Your Say
Focus group and public engagement opportunities
Museum staff will host a focus group at Macaulay House (35 Church Street, Picton) on Saturday, March 28. If you are interested in participating, please contact Cassandra Waldon at cwaldon@pecounty.on.ca to register.
Additional public engagement opportunities will take place this May at Mariners Park Museum and Rose House Museum. Open to the public, these opportunities will invite participants to give feedback on the spot about the specific museum sites.
