Both local OJHL hockey teams played Game 3 of their first round playoff series last night.
The defending Buckland Cup Champions, the Trenton Golden Hawks, beat the Lindsay Muskies 5-2 in Quinte West, to extend their series lead at 3-0.
The Wellington Dukes fell to the host Pickering Panthers 3-2. Pickering now has a 3-0 lead in the series.
Both Trenton and Pickering can advance to the second round with Game 4 wins on Friday night.
Trenton will be in Lindsay, while Pickering will visit Wellington.
