Belleville firefighters dealt with two fires on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to a house fire just after 2 a.m. The blaze happened at a two-storey home in Thurlow. Those inside were able to safely escape. The fire started in one of the upper level bedrooms. The cause was deemed electrical
Later in the day just after 11 a.m., smoke could be seen across the City, after Collision Masters Auto Body Shop caught on fire. Crews from all five stations responded to the blaze on Parks Drive, near Walmart. There were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $300,000 in the accidental fire.
