The County Kids of Steel Triathlon is this Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Prince Edward County staff add in a statement that there will be single lane closures and traffic disruptions across a variety of intersections along the route.
The triathlon will start and end at the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre along Loyalist Parkway, which will be down to one lane to County Road 10, and County Road 10 to Millennium Trail.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution as OPP and volunteers will be monitoring runners.
