Just in from Prince Edward County staff….
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has informed the municipality that the Glenora Ferry has suspended service until further notice due to a mechanical issue.
The ferry will return to service after repairs are completed. The municipality will issue an update when more information is available.
Alternate access is available via County Road 49, Highway 62 and Highway 33. Please plan your travels accordingly.
When service resumes, the ferry will return to the seasonal schedule through Thanksgiving Weekend. The Glenora Ferry will offer 15-minute service daily. Service will take place between 10:15 am and 7:45 pm. Outside of these hours, service will remain every 30 minutes from 6 am and 1:15 am.
