It’s time to fall back.. in this area of Ontario.
Daylight Savings Time officially ends on Sunday, November 1st at 2 a.m. Make sure you put your clock back and check your batteries on Saturday night.
Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services is once again reminding residents to replace batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
By law, smoke alarms must be installed on every level of the home and outside all sleeping areas. For added protection, place alarms inside bedrooms as well. Homes with fuel-burning appliances, fireplaces, or attached garages must also have carbon monoxide alarms located outside all sleeping areas.
For questions about testing your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms or having them inspected, contact Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services at 613-392-6557.
