Paul Langlois, guitarist for The Tragically Hip, performed acoustically from the porch of his Kingston home last night. This time as a tribute to Captain Jennifer Casey. The RCAF public affairs officer, and former Quinte resident, was killed when the Snowbirds tutor jet she was a passenger in crashed in Kamloops, B.C. May 17. Casey was a fan of The Hip and as she had a tattoo with lines from the song Grace Too, Langlois close to play that song. He also spoke of the time he, and a year later band mate Gord Sinclair, had a chance to fly with the Snowbirds. (The video starts out sideways, but is corrected about a minute and a half in).
