Loyalist College will be hosting a web forum on September 10 from 1 pm – 2:30 pm.
“Standing Together Against Racism” is an opportunity for the campus community and Quinte region to come together.
The College notes that this Zoom event is a chance to share perspectives while moving forward to remove systemic barriers and create change.
Panelists:
- Dr. Aruna Alexander, Founding President of the United Nations Association, Quinte Branch; Minister with The United Church of Canada for 30 years in the Quinte region.
- Georgina Thompson, Loyalist College Nursing Graduate.
- Orlando Ferro, Executive Director of Quinte Immigration Services.
- Sydney Jarvis, Loyalist College Social Service Worker Graduate.
