Loyalist College has announced a new Chair of the Board of Governors.
Pam Jolliffe will be taking over from past chair Bob Forder, who served in the role for three years.
Jolliffe hails from Milford in Prince Edward County, and has been with the board since 2018. Her new role will be for a one-year term, as she shifts from the Vice Chair position.
During her career, she has served as the interim executive director at Food Banks Canada. Jolliffe has also been apart of many boards in the non-profit sector like the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, as well as the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association.
“As a highly engaged Board member, Pam will bring thoughtful leadership to the College as we help the Bay of Quinte region to recover from the pandemic by responding to employers’ shifting labour force needs with innovative education offerings and applied research opportunities,” said Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan, Loyalist College President and CEO.
