I was shocked as I stared slack-jawed at all the Christman decorations lining every shelf, all the displays on the floor, hanging on the walls, and in every nook and cranny of the store, it was awful. The date October 3rd, 2020, the year we declare war on Christmas!
We as lovers of ‘Spooky’ October have always know where the line was, it’s November 7th. That is officially when the Christmas season is allowed to start. This is after all the Halloween candy has been eaten, then, and only then would we see Christmas decorations in the malls and stores.
November was the buffer month between these two gigantic celebrations but not this year. Christmas has decided to take all of November and most of October as well.
It’s time to show who owns the month of October. Post your Halloween costume for this year on our Facebook page, tweet your favorite costume you find online to us and we will push the shelves clear of tinsel, red and green led lights, and candy canes back to the month they belong to!
Who is with me?
