Gleaners Food Bank Receives a Generous Donation from the Belleville Metro

Recently, John Burke and the Belleville Metro did a holiday fundraiser and donated $5 174 to Gleaners Food Bank, which is something Sarah Kring (Public Relations and Fundraising Coordinator for Gleaners) said the Organization was thrilled to get this donation.

In just 2020 alone, Gleaners supported almost 1500 families, 6321 adults, 533 seniors and almost 3000 children. Also, they provided almost 4700 food hampers to people in need. Lastly, the transported 165k kilograms of food for the Quinte Region.
