Local maple syrup producers have been able to keep the community spirit of “Maple in the County” Festival going, even though we couldn’t all come together this year.
A variety of local farms piled their resources to create 125 County-To-Go bags. These bags featured a variety of maple syrup products and were sold at select farms.
The organizers with Maple in the County have announced that this initiative raised $6,000 for the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The money will go towards the Back The Build hospital campaign.
