The Quinte Trash Bash kicks off next week across the region.
Residents in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County and Tyendinaga Township are encouraged to get out and help clean up the community with only members of their household. Keeping with public health guidelines, folks need to keep physical distancing, have hand sanitizer available, and wear gloves. Garbage pickers are also encouraged.
Those interested in participating are strongly encouraged to pre-register for contact tracing purposes and for more updates.
Quinte Trash Bash is officially on Saturday, May 8th, but it’s a week long initiative.
Each community has supply kits available for participants to pick up. The kits include gloves and garbage bags. There are drop-off spots for garbage in each community.
