Loyalist College will be hosting a number of virtual convocation ceremonies this year, as restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic continue.
“Much internal discussion and ideation occurred around how we could safely host a ceremony. But, given Ontario’s current state of emergency and outlook for the Spring, the risk is far too great. We are, first and foremost, concerned about the health and well-being of our College community and committed to keeping everyone safe,” said President Vaughan, in a letter to students early May.
The College will be hosting four ceremonies each day from Tuesday, June 22 to Friday, June 25.
Students will be receiving information through their Loyalist e-mail account about how family and friends can watch the ceremonies live and/or later on.
