Here is our recent episode of “In Touch With Quinte” that aired Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Dave Cox joined us first from Glanmore National Historic Site in Belleville. He is the temporary education and marketing coordinator. Cox talked about the new travelling exhibit from Wellington County about the history of tattoos. The exhibit will be at Glanmore until May 1st. The museum will not be holding traditional March Break events next week for the kids. Take-home activity kits are available to purchase through the website and the museum remains open for tours. Cox and the team have also been having some fun on TikTok.
Rick Zimmerman was our second guest on the show. He is a business partner with artists Peter Paylor and Lisa Morris. Together they operate River & Main Theatre Company. The non-profit has a newer space in town called “Theatre in the Wings” in downtown Belleville. Zimmerman shared more about how the project got started and what events are in the works.
