The Ontario Provincial Police have provided an update this week about record checks.
Staff have announced in a statement that a new process will be starting Monday. Residents who live in communities monitored by the OPP will be able to get their record checks done online.
The online process applies to those looking for:
- Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- OPP Non-Parent Custody Check (LE213)
The costs for record checks will not be changing. It’s $41 to get a record check done.
