A very popular event in downtown Belleville will be coming back this summer for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
Belleville Downtown District BIA has announced in a statement today, that they plan to host “Downtown @ Dusk” on Friday, June 24.
The event along Front Street in downtown Belleville will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Residents will be able to walk the streets from Victoria Avenue to Bridge Street East and Front Street to help the BIA celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Live music, patios, local food, and vendors will be taking part. Members of the Mohawk community will be kicking off the evening with an indigenous storytelling session. Local artist Melissa Brant will also be creating art installations that are inspired by the Thanksgiving Address.
A fashion show and vendor markets will also be going on in the area.
