Prince Edward County is getting ready to close registration for their Summer Pass Program.
The new program is designed to make sure that local residents don’t have to pay to use their local beaches.
The County’s Summer Pass Program lets residents use the Wellington Rotary Beach for free. Parking fees are also waived at Bakker Road and Huyck’s Point Road.
Three passes can be requested for one local address. Online registration for the Summer Pass Program will close Tuesday, July 26. Proof of address is required. Passes must be picked up by August 12. Residents can pick-up their passes at any local library branch or the Edward Building in downtown Picton.
