The start of the fall semester here at Loyalist College is coming up fast!
Ryan Stoness joined us recently to talk about what the teams have planned to help welcome students and staff back on campus.
Stoness is the Coordinator of Wellness, Orientation and Peer Supports.
The team is planning to host Bridge Days on August 31st and September 1st. Both of the days will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bridge Days is designed to support new students to help them learn about what resources are on campus, and a bit more about the Quinte region. The events are free to sign-up.
Orientation week will be the first week of school. The team is planning to host an outdoor market, a Friday Night Lights game, and a variety of activities.
They are also looking for community organizations and volunteers who want to get involved.
