Belleville Police have released an update about a shooting yesterday.
Officers responded to Pine Street at 1:43 p.m. Police believe at this point, that two men entered a residence and shot a person several times with a handgun. The 28-year-old victim from Toronto is in serious condition at Kingston General Hospital.
Belleville Police note that they were able to quickly identify the two suspects involved. Officers located a vehicle over in Kingston in the area of Taylor Kidd Boulevard and Princess Street just after 3:30 p.m. The two suspects were arrested.
Quorde Quincy Bowen, a 23-year-old from Toronto, and Nathaniel Mascoll, a 24-year-old, have both been charged with attempted murder using a restricted firearm. They are also facing a series of other charges. Police add that Destiny Kaitlyn Burns, a 23-year-old from Toronto, has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
The three people are all being held for a bail hearing scheduled today.
