Loyalist College has announced today that Mark Kirkpatrick will be the President and CEO moving forward.
He has been serving as the Acting President of the College since former President and CEO Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan, resigned last summer to lead Humber College.
The College’s Board of Directors has announced that Kirkpatrick will formally change his job title on March 1st.
“We are delighted to announce Mark Kirkpatrick’s appointment as the new President and CEO of Loyalist College. After conducting an exhaustive search across Canada, the search committee believed Mark was the most qualified candidate and in the best position to make a positive and meaningful impact on Loyalist College going forward. He has led transformational change across the institution for the last 17 years, and is recognized as an approachable, consultative, and visionary leader with an unmatched ability to translate strategy and ideas into execution, said Board Chair Pam Jolliffe, in a statement released by the College.
Kirkpatrick has been working at the College since 2005, in a variety of roles.
