Band: The Dirty Nil
Single: Nicer Guy
From: Hamilton, ON
The lead single from their latest album, Free Rein to Passions, Nicer Guy is all about…well, being a nicer guy!
Frontman Luke Bentham says of the song: “I’d been sitting on some of the guitar parts for a long time, husbanding them for a suitably righteous song. In the depths of lockdown, I dusted them off and came up with the words. It was a happy day in an otherwise lonely time.”
The Dirty Nil’s latest and fourth album, Free Rein to Passions, released back in May and they’re touring to support it this summer and fall!
Catch The Dirty Nil in London later this month on July 15th, and they’ll be back in Canada this September and October with shows in London (again), Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and more! Full tour list HERE.
Listen to the 91X New Song Pick of the Day at 8:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 4:15 PM and 7:15 PM!
